A proven past

Working from premises in Cheadle, Cheshire, throughout the 1970s and 80s, APS built a successful business as a high quality printer, with a reputation for exceptional customer service. By the mid-90s, the business had grown rapidly and it was then that we made the strategic decision to move into print management, moving to our current, purpose built premises in Cheadle Heath in 1998.

In 2000, to better reflect the structure of the business, we adopted the APS Group branding to encompass what was by then a family of businesses – APS Print Management Services, APS Logistics, APS Digital, APS Studio, APS Presentations, Pulsar Healthcare Communications and Origin, our award-winning creative agency.

The transformation of APS from printer to fully managed print and communications services business and the Group’s sustained expansion has been achieved organically, building knowledge and expertise, developing a talented high quality workforce, and working closely with our customers – meeting or exceeding their expectations – to help them deliver better services for their customers.

Now we operate one of the most modern integrated printing, production and storage environments in the UK, equipped with leading edge technology that helps reduce turnaround times, safeguards our customers’ brand integrity and minimises the likelihood of error, to help us deliver consistently high quality products and services.
